Culture and Ministry Officials from France along with the French Consulate to Los Angeles paid a surprise visit to expatriate Josette LeBlond at Normandie Bakery in Los Angeles today.
Much to everyone’s utter astonishment Frédéric Lefebvre, Secrétaire d’Etat (Secretary of State), Louis Duvernois, Sénateur (Senator), David Martinon, Consul général (French consulate to Los Angeles and French President Sarkozy’s close confident), Gaetan Rudant, Conseiller du Secrétaire d’Etat, Jean-Claude Zambelli, Conseiller AFE, Fabrice Maïolino, Consul général adjoint, Alain Belais, directeur général de l’APCE, Benjamin Maftouf, Attaché de presse du Consulat, Shirley Moirin, Attaché de presse adjointe du Consulat, and Abdelhalim Benzadi, Officier de sécurité du Secrétaire d’Etat came walking into Normandie Bakery at 3022 South Cochran Avenue in Los Angeles, on February 25, 2012 at 10 a.m. The Secretary of State, Senator and French Consulate wanted to pay a visit to their expatriate Josette LeBlond, who left France to work in America in 1986, and applaud her for promoting all things French outside of her homeland.
